I went to Kerry to help cope with tinnitus, and work related low mood. This was my first experience of not feeling I could cope, and my first experience of counselling so I was unsure what to expect and if it was right for me but Kerry very quickly made me confident that this would be beneficial. Kerry is incredibly intuitive and within a couple sessions was able to understand the way I thought and share many positive attributes of mine, linking what she had understood about me to the best strategies for me. She is not only friendly and inviting to talk to, but she completely put me at ease and was genuinely excited to hear good news from me. What makes Kerry different is that she was able to explain to me her research and you can tell she is so genuinely interested in what she does and enjoys it. She regularly told me interesting stories and facts about mental health and mindfulness and provided me with many resources which sparked interest in me to do my own research and work on my knowledge outside of sessions to benefit my well being too. I have continued to follow a lot of the techniques that Kerry has provided me with, that continue to help me in understanding myself and how I work which has encouraged me to talk more openly about what affects me. I genuinely looked forward to my sessions and being able to offload in a safe space with help to focus on the positives and how we were going to change it around for me. I could not recommend Kerry enough and I am forever thankful for the help I received from her during our sessions.
